About Cacklin Slayers

It all began back in 2022, with two friends, wild plans, and a lot of cackles. Our first project was an epic Forgotten Realms adventure module involving the Red Wizards of Thay... a project that was way too ambitious and, sadly, never came to fruition.

However, that wild creative burst gave us two things:

1. A name and mascot for our D&D company (hint: the adventure's villain was a big baddie from Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes).
2. The discovery that we made a great creative team.

Things escalated.

Cacklin Slayers is:

Marco Meulenberg discovered D&D during the COVID pandemic. Ever since, he’s been known to say philosophical gems like, "If I could go back in time to relive my life, there’s only one thing I’d do differently: I wish I’d started playing D&D sooner."

As our resident expert on all things resin, Marco combines creativity and craftsmanship. You can also catch him on the Dutch actual play podcast Geen Woorden Maar Draken.

Josha Stribos has been sketching monster-filled mazes since he could hold a pen. When he discovered that there were actual adults out there who had created rules for this kind of thing, D&D quickly became a lifelong obsession.

Josha is Cacklin Slayers’ main writer, editor, and illustrator. You might know him from the Dutch YouTube-channel Bord Voor Je Kop.
